벌써, 2027년 목회계획 또는 목양계획을 세우는 시간이 돌아왔습니다!
예수님의 몸된 예배공동체, 시온장로교회가 어떠한 성장을 이루었으면 하는지, 담임목사가 말씀연구와 기도를 통해서, 그리고 교회의 상황을 분별하면서, 방향을 잡고, 그 방향으로 걸어가며 어떻게 성삼위 하나님께 기쁨을 드릴 것인지를 결정하는 것과 그 방향으로의 걸음을 현실화하기 위해 모든 가용한 자원을 믿음으로 준비하는 것이지요. 그래서, 우리는 예산위원회를 구성하고, 2027년도 예산안을 논의한 후, 지난 9개월간의 시온의 걸음 속에 나타난 성삼위 하나님의, 실수가 없으시고 완전하신, 보호하심와 공급하심을 함께 확인하고, 믿음으로 2027년의 예산을 수립하게 됩니다. 이 과정은 예산위원회와 당회가 주도적으로 진행하지만, 시온가족 모두의 기도가 간절히 필요합니다. 지금까지 시온을 지키시고 돌보아주신 신실하신 성삼위 하나님을, 우리 모두가, 110% 신뢰할 수 있도록, 그리고 더욱 더 건전하고 건강하게 “예수님의 성품”을 품고 자라나는데 필요한 모든 것을 넉넉히 공급하여 주시도록 기도를 모아주십시오 (고후 9:8, “하나님이 능히 모든 은혜를 너희에게 넘치게 하시나니 이는 너희로 모든 일에 항상 모든 것이 넉넉하여 모든 착한 일을 넘치게 하게 하려 하심이라”).
The season has returned for us to prayerfully chart our course for the 2027 Ministry and Pastoral Plan! As the body of Christ, Zion Presbyterian Church is called to discern how God desires us to mature as a worshiping community. Through deep study of Scripture, persistent prayer, and careful discernment of our church’s present needs, the pastor seeks to establish our trajectory—guiding Zion to live in a way that brings delight to the Triune God. This calling also requires us to faithfully prepare every available resource to bring this divine vision to fruition. To carry out this work, we are forming a Budget Committee to deliberate on the 2027 budget. As we look back on the past nine months of our journey, we bear witness to the infallible protection and bountiful provision of our Triune God. Standing on this unwavering foundation, we step forward in faith to establish the coming year’s budget. While the Session and Budget Committee will lead this initiative, it ultimately rests upon the earnest prayers of the entire Zion family. We ask you to join your hearts in prayer: that every member of our church family may place 110% trust in the faithful God who has sustained us thus far, and that He would richly grant all that is required for us to flourish in health, integrity, and the very character of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 9:8 — “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”)
