오늘 (2026년 10월 4일) 우리는 임직감사예배를 성삼위 하나님께 올려드리게 됩니다. 길었던 준비 과정을 마치고, 성삼위 하나님 앞과 교회 앞에서, 무거운 서약을 드리면서, 섬김의 여정을 시작하시는 세 분을 생각하면, 모든 것이 성삼위 하나님의 은혜임을 고백하게 됩니다. 앞으로 세 분의 섬김을 통해서 시온예배공동체가 더욱 더 아름답고 견실하게 세워지길 소망합니다. 그런데, 여기까지의 여정이 우리의 결심과 노력이 아닌, 성삼위 하나님의 은혜로 온 것처럼, 결국 세 분이, 예수님의 몸인, 시온을 섬겨 나가시는 것도, 성삼위 하나님께 맡겨 드리는 것 뿐, 세 분이, 그리고 우리가 할 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없습니다. 다만, 임직하시는 세 분이 코람데오(하나님 앞에 서있음)를 매 순간 기억하시면서, 받으신 직분을 소중하고 감사하고 무겁게 여기시고, 성삼위 하나님의 영광을 위해 진실하게 걸어 가시길 기도할 뿐입니다. 아울러, 시온지체들의 시선 앞에 있음도 기억하시면서, 그 지체 한 분 한 분을 위해 예전보다 더 진지한 사랑과 용납과 희생과 섬김을, 천국 상급(“기뻐하고 즐거워하라 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라…”[마 5:12a])을 바라보면서, 그리고 우리와 연합하셔서 동행하시며 불쌍히 여기시고 힘주시는 예수님만 의지하며, 걸어 가시길 기도할 뿐입니다.
Today (October 4, 2026), we offer an Ordination Thanksgiving Worship to the Triune God. As we reflect on the three individuals who are concluding a long season of preparation and beginning their journey of service—making solemn vows before the Triune God and the church—we cannot help but confess that everything is purely the grace of the Triune God. It is our earnest hope that through their dedicated service, the Zion Worship Community will be built up even more beautifully and steadfastly. Yet, just as the journey to this point was brought about not by our own resolve or efforts but by the grace of the Triune God, so too, as they serve Zion—the body of Jesus—their task is simply to entrust all things to the Triune God, for there is nothing that they or we can accomplish on our own. Our only prayer is that the three newly ordained and appointed servants will remember Coram Deo (living before the face of God) at every moment, treasure their calling with deep gratitude and solemn reverence, and walk faithfully for the glory of the Triune God. Furthermore, we pray that they will remain mindful that they are also standing before the eyes of the members of Zion. Looking toward the heavenly reward (“Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven…”[Matt. 5:12a]), and relying solely on Jesus who is united with us, walks with us, shows us mercy, and grants us strength, may they walk this path with even deeper love, acceptance, sacrifice, and service for each and every member of our church family.
