지난 2026년도 부활감사주일은 참으로 기쁘고 감사한 날이었습니다. 몇 가지 이유가 있습니다. 첫째, 우리를 위해 죽으시고 부활하신 예수님을 평소보다 깊이 느끼고 감사한 것입니다. 둘째, 성찬식을 통한 은혜를 나눈 것입니다. 셋째, 디모데 선교회, 찬양팀, 그리고 영어회중이 오랫동안 기도하면서 최선으로 준비한 찬양을 예배에서 올려드린 것입니다. 넷째, 온 성도가 한 믿음으로 예배와 친교를 정성껏 준비한 것입니다. 다섯째, 가능한 한 많은 성도가 함께 모여서 부활하신 우리의 구원자를 예배한 것입니다. 여섯째, 오전 11시에 천둥번개를 동반한 비가 내릴 예정이라, 먼 거리에서 오시는 분들이 어려움을 겪으실 수 있었는데, 믿음으로 달려오시는 분들을 위해 하나님 아버지께서 그것을 뒤로 밀어주신 것입니다. 무엇보다도, 우리가 그 날 함께 모일 수 있었던 오직 하나의 이유이자 근거가 되는 “부활을 믿는 믿음”을 성삼위 하나님께서 우리에게 주셔서, 구원 받은 우리가 부활하신 예수님을 마음껏 축하하고 감사할 수 있던 것입니다(롬 10:9b, “하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라”). 하여… 모든 영광을 성삼위 하나님께 올려드립니다!
Resurrection Lord’s Day 2026 was a day of profound joy and thanksgiving for several reasons. First, we were able to experience and appreciate the presence of Jesus, who died and rose again for us, more deeply than ever before. Second, we shared in the abundant grace offered through the Lord’s Supper. Third, we offered up praises prepared with utmost sincerity and long-term prayer by the Timothy Ministry, the Praise Team, and the English Congregation. Fourth, the entire congregation prepared for both worship and fellowship with one faith. Fifth, it was a blessing to see so many of our members gather together to worship our risen Savior. Sixth, there was a special providence regarding the weather. Thunder-storms and heavy rain were forecasted for 11 a.m., which could have made travel difficult for those coming from a distance. But, for the sake of those rushing to the sanctuary in faith, our Heavenly Father held back the storm. Above all, we are grateful that the Triune God granted us the “faith in the Resurrection”—the sole reason and foundation for our gathering. This faith allowed us, as the redeemed, to celebrate and thank our risen Jesus with all our hearts. As it is written in Romans 10:9b, “If you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Therefore… we lift up all the glory to the Triune God!
